If you are seeking this DJ Promo only box set because of the alleged Stereo status of all the tracks then do not waste your time or money it's a 4-6 let down. 9 of the tracks have been officially mixed and available in Stereo The Who's "My Generation" being thus far the last gem to be done in 2004 and it is knockout leaving the much compressed hard on your ears Mono mix confined to history. The Stereo mix is crisp, clear, alive and full and follows the original Shel 'mono' Tammy mono mix faithfully. With the exciting stereo mix you just get more, much much more and the frantic finale is now at last easy/enjoyable on the ear!The only track still officially mono (after some 39 years) is The Kinks"All Of the Day And All Of The Night" (yet another Shel 'Mono' Tammy production) There are unofficial DES and Sync-Up Stereo mixes out there in cyber space and they sound amazing!So if you were living in hope with just regards to Disc 4 and Disc 5 then forget it. No doubt the CD soundtrack will also be awash with mono mixes, for a Dolby 5.1 Stereo soundtrack film!!! Record Companies, please please stop telling lies, duping, conning, ripping-off, deceiving the collector!! If the track ain't in its Stereo Mix and or vice versa then STATE IT, you may sell more.My tip and hint to any Stereophonic recoding/mix aficionados like myself then NEVER EVER trust label or sleeve text always drop the stylus in to the groove slip the headphones on and check. Try before you buy. This con/deception is not just in the domain of CD releases and compilations, it has been going on in vinyl since the South Pacific Album hit the USA and UK stores in 1959's RCA's LiViNg StErEo soundtrack re-release! It is the fault of pig ignorant compilers, poor researchers, amateur discographers, tape store staff, and cutting engineers.
