i regret not listening to this album up until very recently. when Joey was fired from Anthrax i was not even in my teens but i was a huge fan of Anthrax. i was devastated when i got the Anthrax fan club letter stating his departure in very vague terms and upon finding out he was fired i wasn't to keen on continuing to support the band. if it isn't broke don't fix it and Anthrax was working more then well at the time they canned him. so i bought Sound of White Noise cause i heard a track called Black Lodge i liked a lot but mostly ignored the album (again untill recently). its a really good album but without Joey its still not Anthrax to me. the John Bush peroid of Anthrax went almost entirely unoticed by me as i didn't listen to any albums since Sound of White Noise. but had i of taken a chance on this album Belladonna i would of had something to fill in the gap 20 something years of Joey being out of Anthrax until very recently. this debut solo album is solid from beginning to end, the music is heavy with great riffs and as good as they ever were vocals by the man Anthrax does not do well without. Anthrax does not do well without Joey Belladonna but as this album proves Joey Belladonna does well with out Anthrax. if u never heard this album i highly recommend it and if ur a fan of the Joey Belladonna past and present eras of Anthrax this album will not disappoint.
