Worth noting that two of the songs here were written by The Wolfgang Press, and they play has his backing band on both (and partly produce!) One of which, "A Girl Like You", was a single off their groundbreaking album "Queer". The other one, "Show Me", was never recorded by The Wolfgang Press under their own name (to the best of my knowledge) and was written specifically for Tom Jones to perform. This was a weird album when it was released, a strange mix of pop gloss and alternative/indie electronic. Listening to it today, at moments it's a bit laughable and cheesy, really...but there are definitely other moments on the album where it comes together nicely and remains enjoyable. An odd artifact of the mid-1990s.
